2 Use local plants

The design of the garden with local plants gives a lot of advantages. Firstly, you will create a trendy eco-friendly space and will spend a minimum of effort on care after planting. Secondly, you can save money: some of the herbs and flowers can be transferred to the site from the nearest field (but only after making sure that they do not belong to endangered species). The rest can be bought in the form of seeds and seedlings, they will cost significantly cheaper than exotic varieties. Even weeds can be used with caution. For example, ivy will help decorate an unsightly fence or a barn wall.

3 Abandon the lawn in favor of field grasses

The purchased lawn has a number of disadvantages. It needs to be regularly trimmed and fed, and to cover the entire site with it, you will have to spend a lot of money. In addition, smooth green lawns without flowers are one of the reasons why there are fewer pollinating insects in the world, including bees. Instead, you can plant wild grass like clover suitable for your conditions and soil in the garden. Over time, it will grow and will look even more aesthetically pleasing and stylish than deliberately perfect lawns.
