Architect-designer Dasha Kossa developed the layout, interior and filling of this apartment together with the hostess picked up everything to the smallest detail, right down to the forks in the kitchen. 

Customers and tasks

The owner of this apartment is a young girl, a media manager in a pharmaceutical company. This is her first apartment, and she has known architect-designer Dasha Kossa for a long time, so there were no problems with choosing a specialist for interior design. The task was to make a comfortable space with a convenient layout that would satisfy the needs of the hostess. At the same time, the budget was relatively small. 

Redevelopment

The developer rented the apartment “in concrete”, initially the layout was standard two isolated rooms, larger and smaller area, kitchen, bathroom and bathroom. Of the two rooms there is an open balcony, which slightly blocked the access of natural light. The customer wanted to keep the original layout, but the designer offered to modify it a little, the result turned out to be more functional and interesting.

The new layout is built on the enfilade principle when the rooms flow into each other. Thus, the kitchen, living room and bedroom are connected. The kitchen was enlarged due to the corridor in order to build cabinets with appliances. A separate dressing room was allocated in the bedroom, a fairly large area of 6 sq. m. The bathroom and the bathroom were combined, but a partition was built between the bathroom and the area with a sink. The customer did not want a standard curtain and a glass fence because of the difficulties in cleaning, so the designer proposed such a solution (and to make it convenient to turn on the water without getting into the tub, they made a second mixer in the middle of the bowl).
