But the impressive ceiling height (4.9 m) made it possible to build a mezzanine floor, on which a bedroom and a future nursery are located. “At the same time, the main task was to hide the supporting structures. For example, one of them is hidden in a niche in the hallway, which is closed by a mirrored door and at first glance looks like an ordinary closet.” View of the kitchen. So moldings appeared on the walls, a French herringbone parquet floor, and a stucco pattern decorated the ceiling. “Decorative circles on the ceiling create an incredible atmosphere and make the room more voluminous.” Glasses, “Tom’s House”. The upholstery echoes the shade of the kitchen facades, visually linking the space together. Vases, Gypsy Gypsum. Photo Olga Shangina-Lesterlen. To organically fit it into the interior, the box was decorated with plaster panels. Despite the small area, it was possible to place a compact island in the kitchen, which also serves as a dining table. A painting by the artist Lika Mellow. Pillows, L.D. Art and Truobadour. The rooms were delimited by glass partitions to allow maximum sunlight into the space. “The walls and ceiling in the bedroom are painted in one dark blue shade. So the space seems more spacious,” adds the author of the project. Authors of the project: designer Angelika LevitskayaTray, Pinetti. Vase, Troubadour. The box, “Tom’s House”.
