STYLE: Daria Soboleva The main wish of the owners of this apartment was to create a classic look of the space and fill it with modern and even minimalistic furniture. So a high cornice and strict moldings with minimal detail appeared in the interior — the laconic design was chosen intentionally so as not to create dissonance with other more modern solutions in the interior. Photo Sergey Ananyev. STYLE: Daria Soboleva With a large area of 150 square meters, there were only four windows in the apartment — they were guided by when creating the layout. The apartment was divided into four main areas: a kitchen combined with a living room, a master bedroom with its own bathroom and wardrobe, a spacious study turned into a nursery, and the central part of the windowless apartment was occupied by a utility block, wardrobes and bathrooms. STYLE: Daria Soboleva The initial data of the apartment largely dictated the interior solutions. A console with a partition made of metal and corrugated glass separating the corridor from the living room appeared there instead of a wall, since customers absolutely did not want to get into a dark room of the corridor without natural light at the entrance. The door to the dressing room, located opposite the window, was decorated with a mirrored partition to the ceiling so that natural light from the windows was reflected and scattered. The console and the partition are made to order. Brass decor, Danton home. Photo Sergey Ananyev. STYLE: Daria Soboleva In the project, the designers decided to abandon the use of natural stone for reasons of practicality and replaced it with large-format ceramic granite. To give such a solution charm, an unusual cutting of porcelain stoneware was made, combined into geometric shapes. To accommodate air conditioning and ventilation, the ceiling in the corridor area had to be lowered. To get rid of the oppressive feeling, high doors to the ceiling were chosen, and then the whole room was painted in the same color and the corridor turned into a cozy chamber space, a kind of box. The designers designed the furniture in the kitchen-living room independently, thinking through the layout of facades and the joints of materials. When the Belgian manufacturer of corrugated glass took it out of production, it took a lot of work to find remnants for kitchen facades and not change the concept. The living room is separated from the corridor by a transparent partition and a console. Photo Sergey Ananyev. STYLE: Daria Soboleva Shelving, Mutto. Brass decor, Danton home. Delicate floral painting in the nursery, collects in its composition all the colors present in the room. The designers took the warm gray color on the walls as a basis, ochre and sea wave appeared later, when the office acquired the status of a nursery. It so happened that the customers moved into the apartment already in the new status of parents for them. Now the delicate floral painting on the wall above the cradle does not suggest at all that this space was supposed to become the study of the head of the family. STYLE: Daria Soboleva The master bedroom is a separate cozy and intimate world, it is dominated by a soft pastel mood. Behind the headboard of the bed — handmade wallpaper from Fresq in a warm gray scale creates a game of highlights and harmonizes with dusty shades of pink, powdery and pistachio, these muted tones flow into the area of the walk-in closet and bathroom in the bedroom. The shared bathroom reflects the concept of the apartment, combining contrasting colors and finishes. The master bedroom of the house. The bed, Bonaldo. Curbstones, Si Lounge. Bra, Flos. STYLE: Daria Soboleva Interestingly, the project was implemented using collages, without photorealistic visualization. Along with some difficulties, it brought a lot of pleasant moments. The customer was very involved in the process, and the designers managed to discuss and come up with a lot together, enjoying work and communication. So after the project was implemented, everyone had the most wonderful memories, and customers, like designers, can hardly remember the difficulties they had to face.
