“This apartment belongs to a young family with a four-year-old child. The couple travel a lot and like to bring souvenirs from different countries, so one of the main tasks was to organize a sufficient number of storage places. In addition, the customers asked to use juicy shades so that a cheerful atmosphere reigned in the house in any weather,” says architect Ekaterina Tretyakova.

“We decided to combine the kitchen and the living room right away. To do this, we used an elegant French arch. Its smooth curves are repeated in the shape of the chandelier placed above the sofa, as well as in the curved lines of the ceiling in the hallway and semicircular mirrors in the master bathroom and bedroom.”

“One of the walls of the living room was completely occupied by a shelving. Neatly arranged books, vinyl records and decorative items create a special atmosphere of warmth and comfort. However, I didn’t want to overload the interior at all, so during the redevelopment we allocated space for a full-fledged dressing room and built-in wardrobes.”

“The kitchen is made in deep blue and complemented with accent black handles. We used a similar combination in the design of the bathroom, where iridescent tiles of the color of the sea are combined with black matte faucets.”

“The bedroom is decorated in purple tones. The wall behind the headboard is decorated with vertical moldings that set the rhythm in the interior and visually increase the height of the ceiling.”

“The design of the children’s room was created with the idea that even after a few years, when the baby grows up, everything in it should be relevant: both the color scheme and the interior itself. We decided to put a large bed right away, a desk is located by the window, and there was a place for a built-in wardrobe at the entrance.”
