The designer designed a memorable interior in an apartment renovated by a developer and planned the zones so as to make the most of a small area. 

Customers and tasks 

The owners of this apartment in a Moscow residential complex are a young married couple. He’s a programmer. She’s a purchasing manager. Both love traveling and active sports skiing, snowboarding. They turned to designer Mila Gench with a request to arrange their apartment in a new building. The developer rented it with finishing, so they didn’t want to change the layout. But we tried to make the interior and functional content “for ourselves”. Among the wishes was to fit a place of rest, a dining and working area in the living room, to equip a dressing room and an additional wardrobe in the bedroom, to leave room for a baby cot for the future. In the bathroom, be sure to place a bathtub. “Without demolishing the walls, use every square meter usefully,” is how the designer formulates the main task. 

Layout

The original layout can be called a eurodrive. This is the format of apartments with a combined kitchen-living room, a small room. In this case, the layout could be considered justifiably successful. There are two windows in the kitchen-living room. There are two bathrooms, one of which is attached to the bedroom. And also in the bedroom there is a nook for a dressing room.
