Photo Sergey Krasyuk “The ceiling height of 4.2 meters is not enough to create two full-fledged floors, but too much for one, so when designing the mezzanine, the game was played by centimeters. It was very important to us that the mezzanine itself and the floor with a kitchen and a bathroom located under it were comfortable to use. In order to save height, we chose the most compact built-in lamps, and all communications were laid between the floor beams. And we did it!” The kitchen and the island are made by Atlas-Lux according to the designer’s sketches. Vintage bar stools, Watford. And to make it lively and not boring, we used a variety of geometries in the finishing. This is how stone “blots” appeared on the kitchen floor, flowing into the carpet in the living room, a geometric pattern of railings, a “block” library and rack-and-pinion wall panels, which further emphasized the height of the ceilings.” View from the living room to the bedroom.
