For this reason, the bulky walls that we are used to seeing in interiors from the Soviet past are no longer relevant today. Solid stationary furniture in most cases looks massive and attracts the lion’s share of attention. At the same time, as a rule, the wardrobe is installed in the corner, the largest object of the composition. On the one hand, it saves space, on the other hand, there is an alien element in the living room. In the absence of a separate dressing room, it is more reasonable to install a wardrobe in the bedroom, but not in the living room. But the decisive factor that practically eliminated integral corner compositions from use was their stylistic limitations. 

Anti – trends

Unfortunately, not all factories track fashion trends and continue to stamp products that have become irrelevant in the last century. 

Most people are used to imagining a corner wall in the living room with a TV, massive cabinets and certainly with a “tree-like” coloring. But this is no longer so relevant. What is it time to leave in the past? Stained glass windows, the color of unnatural wood (excessively dark or, conversely, bleached), rounded shapes that are out of place in modern spaces (strict geometry looks more relevant). A few examples of what should be left in the past are offered below.
