Photo Sergey Morgunov The apartment is located in a 1927 house on Malaya Bronnaya, surrounded by historical buildings and streets that are remembered by generations of residents of the capital. Here you can feel the special flavor and spirit of old Moscow, which Yulia Mironova decided to convey in the interior. “The plans were to use vintage and antiques. In addition, the customer has a large collection of interior items, posters, some little things from different eras. It was necessary to create a background that would unite all these treasures, and add modern objects to “rejuvenate” the space,” says the author of the project. The kitchen is made to order. The dressing room is also perceived as part of a large common space, since it is separated by wide double doors with glass, which the customer always keeps open.” Lamps, Gramercy Home. A vintage armchair was found in one of the Moscow restaurants. Photo Sergey Morgunov Developing a color scheme, the architect settled on calm shades that will not overload the space and will give the main role to pieces of furniture and art. “For example, in the living room, all the attention is attracted by a photo taken by Gennady Popov, a former TASS photojournalist. It depicts a 1970s Medeo skating rink. The photo was offered by friends of the customer, relatives of Popov. Another unusual detail was the stained glass window, thanks to which sunlight enters the bathroom. It was created by a Moscow artist based on my sketches.” Bedroom. Chandelier, Iris Cristal.
