The design team has arranged this apartment for a girl. The hostess plans to use it as a personal office. At the same time, you can comfortably “close” there even for weeks and immerse yourself in the creative process for this there is everything you need.

Customers and tasks 

This small apartment in Tyumen belongs to a graphic designer and blogger. In addition to the main employment, a young girl writes down her educational course. Designers Anna Soytu and Victoria Zakharova were faced with the task of designing a visually attractive interior that could be filmed on camera. The main purpose of the apartment is a personal “office”.

Layout

The studio originally had an isolated hallway and bathroom. The designers decided to remove the partition between the hallway and the room to create a common space and thus visually increase it. 

Finishing

Quartz vinyl was chosen for finishing the floor in the area of the room and hallway. “It repeats the texture of natural oak and boasts a pleasant semi-matte sheen. In addition to aesthetics, quartz vinyl has qualities such as abrasion resistance, reliability and durability, which means that the customer’s videos and photos in this interior will always be stylish. And this made it possible to use it on the entire area without splitting the space,” the authors of the project explain. For the walls in this area, a light gray-beige shade was chosen, highlighting one of the walls with a darker gray color and veneered MDF panels. 

In the bathroom, paint and several types of wall tiles were combined. The paint, as it should be, was used in those areas where water does not get into. Tiles were also decorated with “wet” areas. The wall above the sink was decorated with a tile with a geometric pattern, an unobtrusive strip. Above the bathroom, a panel of tiles with a different pattern was made, also in the style of geometry. And basic ceramics of a light shade are also used. The same quartz vinyl is on the floor (yes, it can be laid in wet areas).
