From the layout project to the purchase of plates, a hair dryer and even a special black sponge for washing dishes, — say designers Lidia Mikaelyan and Yulia Selivanova from the Design Wow bureau. — In search of a stone for the kitchen, we looked at tons of Arabescato marble to find the right shade of veins — olive, slightly going into bronze and, most importantly, without the slightest admixtures of pink. And we couldn’t let random details spoil the impression of the interior.”

The kitchen, made according to the Design Wow project, is installed with an indentation from the walls and ceiling. Oak, tinted bronze, and Arabescato marble were used as finishes.

The owner, a business person, shares this approach and values his time. Therefore, immediately after buying the apartment, he gave the keys to the designers and returned when everything was done.

The house was built according to the project of Sergei Skuratov, partly the architecture itself dictated the image of the interior. “And, of course, the tastes of the customer,” Lydia and Julia continue. — We knew from previous joint projects that he was a practical person.

Therefore, the shelves are glazed, the fabric wall panels are washable, and the furniture is from the classics of modern design, which will look relevant for years. And although the customer lives alone in an apartment of 108 square meters, we tried to make the interior masculine and sensual at the same time.

The kitchen, dining room and living room are located in a single space. The racks are made to order according to the sketches of designers. Armchair, Christian Liaigre. Large brutal shapes are softened by textures that are warm to the touch. The color scheme is restrained, without sharp contrasts, with a predominance of complex olive, silver, honey shades.

Making up the color palette, we kept in mind the image of the facades and roofs of the houses of our beloved France, from where, by the way, we brought almost all the accessories for this house.

The layout is subordinated to the function of each space. The living room is combined with the kitchen, but since the kitchen unit is made in the form of a free-standing volume, it does not contrast with the rest of the furniture. The master bedroom, dressing room and bathroom occupy a separate unit, completely hidden from outsiders.
