In a bright and eclectic project, designer Bohemian Ardzinba was able to hide the shortcomings of the layout and find a creative interpretation for the customer’s wishes

“Color, character, geometry are the main components of this interior,” says designer Bohema Ardzinba about her new project. — The original layout was based on an irregular shape, but we decided to turn the shortcomings to our advantage. As a result, we got a space with the main block of the kitchen-living room, around which there is a dressing room, a bedroom and a bathroom. So we were able to take into account the wishes of the customer not to lose the feeling of greater spaciousness and keep the comfort in each separate zone.”

There was enough natural light in the central space of the interior, and this allowed artificial lighting to be more decorative. The lamps created by the designer have become the main accents in the living room and dining area.

“For me, the play of shades in this project reflects courage and determination,” says the designer. — I was lucky with the customer — he was not afraid to choose non-standard options and trusted my solutions in matters of color. I wanted each zone to become a separate world, to be filled with emotions, details that I want to look at. These are a table and paintings in the living room, a screen in the bedroom, and, of course, lamps that were made specifically for this project.”

The rich shade of the walls in the living room and kitchen areas is balanced by a more neutral palette in the bedroom and graphite-gray tones in the bathroom and hallway.

The bulk of the furniture was made to order according to the sketches of the author of the project by local craftsmen. The project went through several stages, and with the appearance of each new layer, the interior became richer in color. The combination of styles and shades did not allow creating a comfortable and harmonious environment. “I managed to preserve the individuality of the interior without going beyond the tasks set,” sums up the Bohemian.
