“The project’s customers, a young couple, wanted to create the most concise and functional interior. They asked not to use materials with active textures, such as stone and wood, so we focused on pastel shades, smooth surfaces and contrasting black details,” the authors of the project say.

“On an area of 64 sq.m, it was necessary to place a kitchen-living room, a spacious dressing room and a bedroom. A dressing room with a laundry room took the place of one of the two bathrooms provided for by the developer’s plan. We did not fence it off with a blank wall and instead installed a perforated glass partition. Due to this solution, we were also able to create a comfortable workplace in the corridor.”

“In our opinion, minimalism does not imply exclusively white walls and a lack of decor. First of all, this is a verified composition, working with shapes and textures. In this project, everything is built on the color nuances of gray and blue shades, which create a feeling of freshness and coolness. Wooden elements and textiles of muted green and brown tones add comfort to the atmosphere.”

“The hallway is visually combined with the kitchen-living room thanks to a wide opening without a door. This solution visually expands the space and adds “air”. The filling of the hallway is as functional as possible: a bench with a small storage for small things, a growth mirror and a wardrobe for outerwear.”

“The kitchen, made in a translucent gray-blue shade, merges with the color of the walls and seems almost weightless. We used the same technique to hide the storage system at the entrance.”

“There is nothing superfluous in the bedroom — just a bed, a dressing table, bedside tables and sconces for reading. The dynamics are brought into the interior by decorative panels in the form of rounded slats.”

“The bathroom has two sinks, a mirrored cabinet with two storage compartments and a cabinet with drawers. In the decoration, dark gray plain porcelain stoneware was used, against which matte white plumbing stands out. We also provided several lighting scenarios to create a different atmosphere, and instead of a standard towel rail, we installed a floor hanger.”
