“The customers, a young active couple, immediately indicated that they wanted a warm interior without frills and a lot of decorativeness,” says designer Marta Loguntsova. — According to the layout, they wanted exactly the number of rooms that was laid out in the plan from the developer, so there were no extra requirements from them. And it made the work much easier — we were on the same wavelength with them right away.”

The apartment is a layout that is popularly called a “shirt”. If you allocate a room near the window to each room, then the most interesting part of the apartment turns out to be the central part, where bathrooms, laundry rooms and dressing rooms are usually located. It was with him that the designers began their work. The bathroom was enlarged due to the corridor, and two utility areas were organized on both sides of the entrance. The kitchen was not combined with the living room, but large sliding doors were designed between the rooms, which became one of the significant elements of the interior.

“We could not actively use the decor, as the concept required it. — Says the designer. — But we still did not deprive ourselves of such an opportunity. The clients didn’t want there to be a lot of decorative moldings on the walls, so we used a very thin molding and stretched the rectangles as close as possible to the baseboard and cornice. This made it possible to free the walls from moldings as much as possible and not abandon them altogether.”

The author of the project pays special attention to the sliding doors in the living room. They were made to order according to individual drawings of designers from natural wood veneer. Non-standard drawing on glass canvases attracts the eye and enlivens the space.

There is a lot of natural light in the bedroom due to panoramic glazing. Neat sconces above the headboard echo bedside tables, and bright pillows — with curtains and decorative elements.

In the study, the emphasis is on an unusual painting on the wall with motifs of the tropics. The color scheme of the painting is picked up by textiles and a poster near the table. The office has a comfortable workplace near the window: the surface of the desk in the daytime is always flooded with light. A cabinet for storing books and other small items is built into a niche, which allowed the designers to free up the space of the room and keep the air in it.
