Nothing superfluous: modern interior of a one-storey house with an area of 178 sq. m. Design 10.04.2022 The idea of a minimalistic and at the same time functional interior that is conducive to relaxation appealed to the owners of a country house near Voronezh. Natural colors integrate the interior into the surrounding landscape, emphasize its connection with nature. Furniture and finishing materials also serve this purpose: wood, stone, granite and plaster with a concrete texture. The atmosphere seems to radiate harmony and peace, allowing you to forget about the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. Customers and tasks The owners of a new country house, a married couple with two children, decided to move to live in nature, despite the fact that hard work in real estate and finance requires frequent presence in the city. For the convenience of moving, a site located near Voronezh was chosen. The customers wanted to see their house warm and cozy, where it would be calm and comfortable for them, two small children and numerous guests. Planning the living room space, the architect advantageously used panoramic glazing: floor-to-ceiling windows and two glass doors to the summer terrace. Dense curtains are responsible for privacy. Construction At the base of the building is a monolithic ribbon foundation; a frame of structural gas blocks (with a density of 500 kg /m3) is erected on it. This material has many advantages. First of all, affordable price, high insulating capacity and speed of laying. Due to the insufficient decorative effect of the blocks, as well as due to the need to protect them from atmospheric moisture, the facade was faced with brick at the level of the residential floor, and insulated and plastered above. Much attention is paid to the lighting design of the living room: ceiling spots on rods, a cozy floor lamp-rod on a curved leg and unusual ceiling lights on suspensions above the dining table. Layout The architect started working on the site when the house was fully built and the customers needed an interior design. The layout of the one-story building was successful. It was left almost unchanged. Internal partitions, as well as external walls, are made of aerated concrete blocks. Ventilation in the house is supply and exhaust. A constant temperature in the rooms is maintained by a gas boiler and radiators. Interestingly, they also perform a decorative function in the living room. Here they are complemented by indoor convectors that do not violate the overall composition. The entrance hall and a large dressing room adjacent to it allow you to rationally place seasonal clothes and shoes. At the exit from the hallway, a spacious living-dining room attracts attention. It is filled with natural light, has picturesque views from numerous windows and glass doors. The ceiling height in the living room ridge reaches 4.3 m, in other rooms 3 m. The kitchen is separated from the living-dining room by a transformable partition. Thanks to this, a room with a gas stove meets the requirement prohibiting combining it with a living room. Sliding doors of small thickness do not take up free space and allow you to use the usable area to the maximum. Due to the abundance of glass, the structure seems almost weightless. When closed, the partition prevents the sounds and smells of cooking from spreading through the house. At the same time, behind a transparent wall, even in a small kitchen, there is no feeling of crowding. Where to look for announcements of materials and fresh ideas for the interior?
