Customers and tasks 

The owners of this three-room apartment are a family with a daughter. The eldest son lives separately, but his children, the grandchildren of the owners come to visit. For this reason, one of the main tasks facing designers Alexey and Ekaterina Savitsky was the redevelopment, it was necessary to allocate three separate bedrooms (for the owners, daughters and grandchildren), while preserving the common kitchen-living room area. The family wanted to design a calm interior, without visual noise. For the hostess, a comfortable kitchen was important, as she likes to cook, thoughtful closed storage systems. The owner also trusted the designers and his wife in making decisions. 

Redevelopment

In the original layout of the apartment there were two rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen-living room with a loggia. The kitchen with the living room was designated as a “living room with kitchen equipment”, which, according to the designers, made it possible to move the partition and allocate a third room at her expense. A partition was also moved between the bathrooms to place a shower room in one of them. At the expense of two rooms, a dressing room was allocated. 

As a result, the layout turned out to divide the space into a common area kitchen-living room, hallway, guest bathroom. And a private one, which is separated from the common by a sliding door, three bedrooms, a bathroom, a dressing room.
