Style: Olga Oleynikova Anna Rims got to work in an apartment in Southern Chertanov, in a panel house built in the early 1970s, with ceilings of 2.64 m. All the walls were load-bearing, so redevelopment was out of the question. The customers, a young couple, value this apartment because their parents lived in it, so the designer had to make it comfortable without radically changing anything. The task is difficult, but, as we see, doable. View from the living room to the bedroom. Shelving, Interior Factory”. Planters, Zara Home. On the wall is the work of Maria of the Future. Style: Olga Oleynikova The main task was to create a comfortable kitchen on five square meters and move the refrigerator there, which previously had no place there — it stood in the pantry in the opposite part of the apartment. It was also important to organize a workplace for the owner of the house, free from cats — two Abyssinians, who, of course, consider the apartment their own. Kitchen, “Interior Factory”. Style: Olga Oleynikova In the five-meter kitchen, the furniture was built with the letter “P”: a dishwasher and a sink are located along the window, then a hob and a functional apron (behind the glass doors there are shelves for spices). A refrigerator and microwave ovens were built into the pencil cases. Previously, the refrigerator could not fit in the kitchen and stood in the pantry at the other end of the apartment, but it turned out that there was room for it at five meters. The kitchen was calculated by millimeters — for example, the decision to change a standard gas stove with four burners to a two-burner helped to win the area. Photo Olga Shangina-Lesterlen. All household functions were taken out to the balcony — there is a wardrobe with a built-in ironing board and a place for ironing. It was possible to place a workplace with a mirror and a soft pouf on the balcony. Bedroom. The bed is made to order, Vitset. Bedside sconces, Marset. Chandelier, Ago. Photo Olga Shangina-Lesterlen. A separate task is protection from cats who feel like owners in the apartment. Computer equipment is saved from cats by transparent sliding partitions separating the work area from the rest of the space. Cabinet, fragment. Photo Olga Shangina-Lesterlen.
