In one of the prestigious districts of the Swedish city of Gothenburg there is a small three-storey house built in 1907. The owners of this apartment immediately fell in love with him as soon as they saw him. What was the cost of one secluded courtyard, in which, in addition to the usual benches and a club, you can notice a barbecue area, equipped on a wooden flooring. Here the residents of the house like to gather on summer evenings, dine outdoors or just go out in the sun with a cup of coffee.

Despite its small area (only 53 square meters), the apartment is cozy and functional. The kitchen is isolated, the living room is combined with the dining room, and the bedroom is in a separate room behind a glass door. The interior is made in Scandinavian style: warm milky shades of white, bleached oak floors, simple wooden furniture, black accents. A graphic industrial-style door made of black metal and glass between the living room and the bedroom is successfully combined with graphics on the wall, vintage Viennese chairs with a black back and a floor lamp-an “arc” above the dining table.

Special attention in this Gothenburg apartment is paid to the decor. The living room is decorated with a vintage poster and two works by an unknown artist of the mid-XX century. In the bedroom above the headboard there is a photo of a summer sunset landscape, which fills the room with peace and a sense of peace. The same purpose is served by textiles used in the decoration of the house. This is a soft, fluffy carpet on the floor in the living room, and decorative pillows of warm brown shades on the sofa.

The kitchen is located in a narrow room of an asymmetrical shape with a bay window. In order not to clutter up a small space, it was decided to abandon the upper cabinets: they are replaced by open shelves. The owners prefer not to bother cooking at home. Their peaceful apartment seems to have been created exclusively for a measured rest with a book or for a thorough conversation.
