The Gessner: new residential complex with designer apartments in London Design 16.04.2022 Fettle Studio, which was engaged in the interior of the new residential complex, worked on it according to hotel standards In London, a new apartment complex The Gessner has appeared on the territory of a former pencil factory, which, with its comfort and attention to detail, resembles a hotel more than an apartment building. Fettle Studio, which was engaged in interior design, worked on it according to hotel standards. “Most of our projects are related to the hotel business, so in this apartment complex we worked with almost the same suppliers as usual,” the designers say. The Gessner has rooms for temporary stays — just like in a real hotel. Photo Way of Life The lounge area is combined with coworking. A cafe with a stylish interior in retro aesthetics is available for all residents. Fettle Studio was responsible in the complex for public interiors and guest apartments, which will be rented out for a while. They are made in light cream tones, a lot of natural wood is used in the decoration of the premises — for example, the ceiling in the lounge area and the walls in the cafe are decorated with it (oak panels give it a retro look). The complex has a coworking space with a large soft upholstered sofa in orange upholstery, and the walls of public areas are decorated with abstract paintings — an ideal place to live, relax and work. You can cook both in your apartment and in the shared kitchen. The complex has a dining area for 10 people. For the residents of the complex, a luxurious terrace with views of London is made on the roof.Ilya Polyakov Original content from the site
