STYLE: Tatiana Korzun The author of the project is designer Lyudmila Rozvodovskaya, ENTER-ra Design Studio. Photo Maxim Maksimov The owner of this small apartment in Zelenogorsk near St. Petersburg holds a responsible managerial position in one of the large corporations. She spends a lot of time on business trips, at meetings and business meetings, and therefore she wanted a place where she could completely detach herself from work problems, relax and relax. “Initially, the apartment was bought as an apartment with a fine finish, and only a small cosmetic repair was planned,” says the author of the project, designer Lyudmila Rozvodovskaya. — However, during the measurements, it was found that the leveled, plastered surfaces of the walls and ceiling simply lack all the electrics — there was not a single outlet for sockets and light! It was an unexpected surprise that allowed us to expand the possibilities of the proposed solutions and instead of “just painting the walls” entailed the creation of an individual project focused on a specific person, and not a standardized solution from the developer.” The picture in the living room was painted by the author of the project Lyudmila Rozvodovskaya. Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun According to the developer’s plan, a small room with an area of 48 square meters was thought of as a studio, but the hostess wanted a separate bedroom. So it was decided to make a small sleeping block with a window facing the living room (daylight penetrates through it). The rest of the space is occupied by a combined kitchen, dining room and living room with two floor-to-ceiling windows and access to a large loggia with frameless Lumon glazing. In addition to this redevelopment, the niches at the entrance to the apartment were slightly adjusted: where the built-in kitchen unit was originally planned, there is now a built-in wardrobe. Hallway. Two built-in wardrobes, Elegrum, are separated by a mirrored canvas from floor to ceiling. The accents are graphic black handles and a La Redoute stool. On the walls and ceiling — paint No. 119 “Linen/Flaxen” and No. 96 “Grey silk/Grey silk”, all — Mons. Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun “The dining area from the very beginning assumed a round table, but chairs from Russian designers Unika Moblär immediately added style to the interior.” Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun The main wishes of the customer: restrained color scheme, lack of visual “noise”, tactility, absence of sharp corners in the interior and everything that can distract from a calm, contemplative rest. And she also wanted art objects to be present in the house, because she is well versed in this and would like to admire paintings on vacation. Table and chest of drawers, SK-Design. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun Initially, only cosmetic repairs were planned, but there was no electrics in the apartment! As a result, instead of “just painting the walls”, a full-fledged individual project turned out “The white canvas in the dining area is a symbol of peace and tranquility, emptiness and beginnings with which you return to the city after a weekend in this space.” Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun Gray-beige shades with a slight inclusion of dusty pink are used as the main background. The accents are graphic details or small pieces of furniture in black. And the main emphasis is on art and decor. “This art is absolutely neutral, you can easily move it to any other place,” says designer Lyudmila Rozvodovskaya. — This also applies to the “White Canvas” above the chest of drawers, and to the light NU graphics opposite, and the somewhat provocative work of the photographer Anna Hoffman in the bedroom. Large papier-mache vases do not look like paper at all, and handmade ceramics from the workshops of the Anton Tut Tut charity foundation, made by people with autism syndromes, looks very touching and exciting.” In the bedroom, a neutral bed with seams outwards from SK Design is complemented by coffee tables instead of bedside tables. There is no overhead light here, only overhead spotlights aimed at the walls. On the wall is a photo work by Anna Hoffman from the series “The Lady with the Unicorn”. Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun Opposite the bed, across the width of the entire room, there is a chest of drawers made of IKEA kitchen modules with walnut veneer facades. Above it are wooden blinds, matched to the color of the countertop. Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun The kitchen is designed as an independent autonomous module with its own lighting. The facades are painted to match the color of the walls so that this area (not the most important for a weekend apartment) attracts minimal attention. Kitchen, Elegrum. The facades are individually painted in the color of the walls. Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun “It was a very interesting experience for us to implement a project for temporary residence with a minimum budget,” says the designer. — And we did it. We were able to set priorities correctly: we convinced the customer to make a wooden floor instead of laminate, used a good European tile in a minimum amount, combining it with paint, made inexpensive doors for painting with a hidden box, put neutral furniture and thought out lighting scenarios so that the ceiling is less broken. The budget of the project severely limited the choice of purchased items, but encouraged us to show imagination in order to give the interior a “zest” without large investments. So author’s works appeared in the interior — the graphics on the wall were inspired by student sketches, and the work of my son Ivan hangs in the bathroom. In the cabinet under the sink, in addition to roomy storage boxes, there is a washing machine. The dusty pink color is matched to the shade of the tile. The walls and ceiling are painted with moisture-resistant matte paint Tikkurila Luja, shade X484. Photo Maxim Maximov. STYLE: Tatiana Korzun We have made a good project that can be easily transformed with minimal interventions. Its architecture is functional, technically thought out, there are good natural materials and high-quality built-in furniture. Everything else can be changed — repainted, buy new furniture, change the decor. The space is ready to transform at any moment, if the hostess of the house wants something new, everyone will be comfortable here.” Balcony. Coffee table and rug, H&M Home.
