Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova The apartment owners are a young couple with an incredible sense of humor, open to new ideas, easy to work with and ready for any experiments, for which I am sincerely grateful to them. The main wish was to create an interior that meets their active lifestyle. There were absolutely no prohibitions, and the work was based on full trust and attention on my part to all the details. I would like to note that throughout the implementation, we supported each other and were on the same “wave”, which for me, as a designer, is the most valuable thing in my work. Sofa, Theca. Carpet, Hay. Chandelier, Grok. Bra, Vesoi. Table, Innovation Living. Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova We tried to make the layout as comfortable as possible, while maintaining a sense of spaciousness and maximum natural light. The entire space was unified and open, and “technical” areas, such as wardrobes, storage and utility rooms, were integrated into the total volume of the room. The apartment also has a separate laundry room and a special shower room for a cheerful dog. Kitchen, Schuller. Teapot, Alessi. Matryoshka dolls are the work of the artist Mikhail Gulin. Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova Hallway. Chest of drawers, Woodslab. Mirror, IKEA. Decor, Vitra, EDG Enzo De Gasperi. Bra, Miloox. Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova The ceilings in the apartment are the standard height for a new building, so I wanted to visually “dissolve” the ceiling plane, for which we painted the entire room in one pale pistachio shade. Thus, the walls and ceiling became the background for furniture, decor and the main highlight — the view of the Minsk Sea. All materials used in the project are eco-friendly and natural. On the floor there is a terracotta—colored clinker tile that connects several functional zones into a single whole, and oak, as the most common and favorite material in my projects, filled the entire space with warm sunlight. View of the kitchen-living room. Partition, “Artobject”. Mirror, IKEA. Parquet and doors, Barausse. Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova One of the most striking interior items was a decorative panel on the wall made by Belarusian craftsmen — a tribute to the architect Alvar Aalto, who has been inspiring more than one generation of designers for many years. It not only decorates the living room, but also serves as additional sound insulation. View of the bedroom. Bed, Pianca. Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova The kitchen and living room are combined into a common space. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances for cooking delicious dishes. There is no traditional dining table in the apartment, it is replaced by a bar counter, which can comfortably accommodate both hosts and guests. We have provided a place to rest by the window. The apartment is located on the south side of the house, which allows you to enjoy fantastic sunrises from the living room, sitting with a cup of coffee on the wide windowsill, and fiery sunsets, sitting on the balcony coming out of the bedroom. Photo Egor Pyaskovsky STYLE: Yulia Mammadova I would like to emphasize that in any project, the main guidelines are the wishes and convenience of customers. For me, the greatest pleasure and the result are happy people who get the house they dreamed of. I am proud that there are such people on my creative path. Bathroom. Tile, Saloni. Faucets, Pafoni.
