The interior of this apartment was created for a married couple with two children. “The customers knew exactly what they wanted. They immediately sent references, at the first glance at which I was even a little shy — would I be able to create something equally beautiful. The couple is close to Scandinavian aesthetics, but I decided to go towards minimalism, which they gladly supported,” says designer Dmitry Cashmirov.

“When I came to this facility for the first time, I wanted to scream — God, this is an airport! High ceilings, large windows, spacious rooms, lots of light and air.”

The layout includes a common kitchen-living room space, where the whole family can comfortably accommodate, a study and three bedrooms with bathrooms — one adult and two children’s. The apartment also has a separate utility block with a laundry area.

The whole interior is based on a combination of natural textures, muted shades of beige, blue and green and floral motifs. “In the living room, everyone immediately pays attention to the mural depicting meadow grasses. To enhance the effect, I suggested rounding the corner of the wall so that the drawing would not be interrupted and flow smoothly.”

The white kitchen is neatly fitted into a niche and is made to match the walls, so that it becomes almost invisible. The work area is emphasized only by an apron with a geometric print, which echoes the color scheme of the hallway. In addition to the dining table, the kitchen has a peninsula with a stone countertop — an ideal place for leisurely breakfasts.

The area of the apartment made it possible to organize a separate office for working at a computer. There was also a place for a library and a comfortable sofa in the room.

The laconic bedroom is decorated with an elegant chandelier with beads. “The customers liked her even in the sketches, and, fortunately, we managed to find one live,” the designer adds.
