“The project’s customers, a married couple with two children, were doing repairs not for the first time and knew exactly what they wanted. The main wish was not to use excessively bright colors and rough textures. The interior should be elegant and restrained — to match the owners,” says designer Reseda Rakhmatullina.

“The layout was not radically changed — all the rooms remained in their places. However, almost all the walls were dismantled and rebuilt according to the new plan. Now the hallway is isolated from the main space by stained glass doors that slide into the wall. Immediately after the entrance hall, a rather spacious, full of air hall appeared. It is not just a passing zone — it visually “collects” all the bedrooms together.”

“We have combined the kitchen, living room and dining room into one space. Opposite the dining area there is a large mirror that visually expands the boundaries of the room. A similar effect was achieved with the help of a fresco depicting a magical forest in the living room — it seems to open a portal to another dimension, brings mystery and intrigues.”

“The bathrooms turned out to be quite bright. We spent a long time choosing the right shade, and at first we weren’t even sure what customers would like, but in the end everyone was happy with the result. In the guest bathroom, the ceiling is painted to match the walls and furniture, making the space seem more solid.”

“In the design of the bathroom, we used thin porcelain stoneware. He demanded very careful handling and made the builders nervous, but everything went well. Also, it was possible to perfectly fit a plumbing hatch under the bath. It is so well hidden in the seams of the tile that it is simply impossible to find the hatch if you don’t know about it.”
