Curitiba is a city in the south of Brazil, claiming to be one of the most environmentally friendly in the world. There is a good climate here, a lot of greenery and there are no industrial enterprises, which is why people from other regions of the country are willing to move here to live. As, for example, the owners of this modern apartment did, the interiors of which were designed by Studio Fabio Fantolino. The designers named their project after Piet Mondrian, a pioneer of abstract painting who experimented a lot with color. His achievements in this area formed the basis of this interior.

The interior is made in a minimalist style with references to modernist design and the era of the 1920s. This is evidenced by the two-tone coloring of the walls: white is combined with soft shades of gray-green and beige. The studio also came up with some interesting planning solutions. For example, the living room was divided into two parts. One of them is more compact and chamber — designed for a one-on-one conversation, and the other is more spacious and ceremonial — suitable for family TV viewing.

Another “feature” of the project were details made of natural walnut wood, which can be found here in the decoration of walls, furniture and upper kitchen cabinets.
