Bright apartment in the center of Prague Design 10.03.2022 The Alepreda Architecture bureau has updated the interior of an apartment in a historic building, filling the space with bright colors and vintage furniture Photo Honza Winter The original layout of this apartment in the center of Prague included four rooms connected by a corridor. The kitchen was isolated from the living area, and the only bathroom opened into the hallway. First of all, the team of the Alepreda Architecture bureau reduced the area of the entrance area and divided the entire space into two symmetrical volumes: one housed the living room and kitchen, and the other – the master bedroom and the nursery. Multi-colored horizontal lines create a special atmosphere in each room and at the same time connect the space into a single whole. Also specifically for the project, the team has assembled an eclectic collection of vintage and modern items. The MiMi dining table, located in the kitchen, was designed by the bureau for the Miduny brand. The buffet in the living room is an original Czech design of the 1960s. The cabinets in the bathroom were designed according to an individual project and made by a local craftsman. Photo Honza Winter Photo Honza Winter Original content from the site
