Therefore, the main task facing the designer Olga Chut was to create a concise, but at the same time comfortable interior, in which an atmosphere of calm and comfort would reign and where I would like to stay for a long time. At the same time, it was impossible to radically change the layout, since almost all the walls in the apartment turned out to be load-bearing. Photo Anton Ivanov. Style: Anna Koroleva “We dismantled the partition separating the kitchen and living room and created a common free space,” says the designer. — We also combined a bathroom with a bathroom and increased its area due to the corridor. In the bedroom we made a spacious wardrobe and storage space for household items. There was a small storage room in the hallway before the redevelopment, we enlarged it a little and equipped a wardrobe for storing outerwear and shoes there in order to free the entrance area from unnecessary things and visual “noise” as much as possible.” Hanging chest of drawers, The Idea. Sunlight penetrates through the living room and enters the hallway, pointing in the direction of the bedroom. Thanks to the unification of the kitchen with the living room, three windows appeared in the room — now this is the favorite place of rest of the owner of the house. The bedroom is located in the opposite part from the living room and overlooks the courtyard. Thus, the owner’s private area is separated from the general one by a corridor, which is the link between them. Chairs, Muuto. Dining table, The Idea. Photo Anton Ivanov. Style: Anna Koroleva The main color and emotional accent in the whole space is a warm tree: this is a wooden floor, and decoration, and furniture, and window sills. The designer decided to leave the walls light — as a background for the environment, which, like a blank canvas, would gradually be filled with the favorite objects of the owner of the house, would reflect his tastes, hobbies, personality and character. So wooden dining chairs immediately appeared in the project, which became the starting point in the work and determined the style of the interior. In addition, furniture of Russian brands and built-in furniture of local productions are also used here. Bed, IKEA. Bra, Muuto. Photo Anton Ivanov. Style: Anna Koroleva Decor, Live in design.
