“This apartment belongs to a young girl. Our task was to create for her the most comfortable and functional space with enough storage space for things and books. In addition, the hostess likes bright colors, so we tried to fill the interior with rich, cheerful shades,” says designer Natalia Shirokorad.

The kitchen is made to order in the workshop of Alexey Vereshchagin. The textile decoration of the windows was made by the decorator Natalia Beresneva.

“Initially, the apartment was a standard “two-bedroom” with an isolated kitchen, which we decided to combine with a living room. Otherwise, we did not change the location of the rooms: the bedroom, bathroom, dressing room and small bathroom remained in their places. Each room is made in its own color: in the main space, the beige palette is diluted by the green kitchen, in the bedroom coral is combined with blue shades of blue, and in the bathroom we used a combination of yellow and green.”

The chairs were bought at Avito and wrapped in fabric, “Quintex”.

“The hostess has a large library, which we had to find a worthy place for. Bookcases are located in the living room. Due to the height “under the ceiling” and the white color of the facades, they are perceived as part of the wall, dissolving into space. It was also necessary to arrange the dishes beautifully. For her, we have provided a free-standing showcase with glass doors and a mirror on the back wall. It looks airy and absolutely weightless. In the bedroom we made several shelves for books and a cozy place to read on the windowsill.”

“The most interesting object in the interior were Soviet chandeliers. We were looking for them on Avito. Even before the start of construction, we began to catch interesting lamps for us. Crystal pendants sparkle and shimmer incredibly in the rays of the sun and artificial lighting.”

“We also bought two small chairs on the balcony at Avito. They were in excellent condition, we just pulled the seats into a new fabric. The hostess chose simple dining chairs, but very comfortable. They were upholstered in a not very interesting shiny brown fabric, we also changed them.”
