Bright Scandinavian-style apartment in the Moscow region Design 19.07.2022 Using a light color scheme, Irina Chufistova created a laconic space with elements of Scandinavian design for a family with a child and a cat Fragments of the hallway. Different areas are emphasized by the flooring: in the hallway and kitchen — tiles, Marca Corona Chalk; in other rooms — engineering board, Tarwood. Looking ahead, I will say that thanks to the correct use of shades and textures, it was possible to avoid an inappropriate feeling of sterility, as in a hospital ward. Therefore, having lived in the apartment for more than a year, the customer still has not regretted her choice — even if it is not the most practical option, but the visual effect pays for everything. Kitchen furniture is made to order according to the designer’s sketches. Photo Evgeny Gnesin Most of the items and textiles were already available to the customer. We practically didn’t have to bring the decor with us for shooting Table, SK design. Chairs, IKEA. Chandelier, Cuna Umage. Photo Evgeny Gnesin For the decoration of the apartment, items of three brands were selected: H&M Home, IKEA and Zara Home. Photo Evgeny Gnesin In general, we immediately found a common language with the hostess — she is a creative person, teaches drawing to children and, of course, draws well herself. And the head of the family works mainly remotely, so another requirement was a well-equipped place for online conferences. Sofa, iModern. Coffee table, La Redute. Photo Evgeny Gnesin I emphasized the simplicity of forms and conciseness, the color palette is based on white, gray, and wood. Black color occurs in the form of lines and individual accents, which makes the space more expressive. Textiles were chosen in natural calm shades: the hostess quickly gets bored with colors, and bed linen, curtains and decorative pillows are easy to change depending on the mood and time of year. Photo Evgeny Gnesin Despite the fact that the ceilings in this apartment are not very high, we managed to visually raise them by using high cabinets and mirrors in the project. The arch in the entrance area also helps to make the space more interesting; here and in the kitchen there is the same graphic tile in a small cage (I love this technique, it helps to connect the space and build a chain of associations). Childish. Bed, Home at Home. Carpet, IKEA. Photo Evgeny Gnesin The kitchen turned out to be functional and ergonomic, it is a place where the whole family gathers. And in the bedroom, a working area was planned specially for the owner, separated from the actual sleeping partition. As a result, it turned out to be a bright, harmonious space, and customers really loved it. And their positive emotions, in turn, please me! Bathroom. Tile, Cotto Russo.
