Photo Sergey Ananyev style: Dasha Soboleva designer Daria Susekova Photo Sergey Ananyev Thanks to her work, the customer travels a lot around the world. Most of all, she likes to visit Paris and Milan, cities where history is intertwined with modernity, and luxury elements are part of everyday life. Inspired by this atmosphere, we took as a basis the style of European classics. It was also an important task to bring the spirit of St. Petersburg into the interior, because the customer came from there, and she wanted to have a corner of her hometown in Moscow. The hostess took an active part in the work on the project: she bought in Paris some of the furniture and interior items selected together with the designer, and also brought antique glass, crystal and decor from Italy. The spacious living-dining room is always filled with light due to the large number of windows facing Bulgakov’s house on one side and a quiet courtyard on the other. The kitchen is located in a niche and is separated from the main space by an island. Black and white vases, Moon Stores. Chairs, JNL, upholstered in fabric, Dedar. Photo Sergey Ananyev style: Dasha Soboleva The living room is flanked by two Chinoiserie-style chests of drawers with golden paintings that rhyme with a mirror frame and brass elements, and two symmetrical Bohemian crystal chandeliers add grandeur to the atmosphere. All these classic and complex interior elements are balanced by the modern graphics of the carpet and pillows and the conciseness of the sofa. Photo Sergey Ananyev style: Dasha Soboleva A special atmosphere is created by historical fittings made to order in the restoration workshops of St. Petersburg. We repeated the motifs of the carving on the fireplace on the cartouche above the arched door — one of the most luxurious interior details. In addition, because of the hostess’s love for Italy, a lot of marble is used in the decoration, in particular in the decoration of the bathroom, kitchen and corridor. We have been looking for the right shade of stone for the bathroom for a long time. I wanted it to be not too contrasting, and at the same time not beaten up. In the kitchen, it took a lot of time to create the transition of the drawing from a vertical surface to a horizontal one, including the island. This stone has collected all the shades of the interior of the living room and kitchen. Daughter’s bedroom. Curtains made of Jab fabric are sewn by Svetlana Lisovskaya.
