When you are both a customer and a performer at the same time, it is difficult to work, but it is interesting. “I wanted to realize the maximum of my professional desires, but at the same time create a comfortable interior in which you can relax from a busy life,” explains designer Irina Vinevskaya, talking about her apartment in a new building in Tula.

The apartment is small, so first of all it was necessary to take care of storage. Having worked on the layout, Irina was able to find a place for a spacious dressing room. We managed to find a place for the laundry room — dirty underwear, washing machine and household chemicals have no place in the bathroom.

Irina combined the kitchen and the living room in order to make the kitchen as concise as possible, she tried to integrate it into a niche. Kitchen facades repeat the color and texture of the parquet board and have the same color with interior doors — this makes the space more integral.

To make the kitchen as inconspicuous as possible, the designer tried to embed it into a niche. The oak-veneered facades of the upper cabinets repeat the oak parquet in color and texture.

The designer loves modern finishing materials, natural wood, bright tiles, and all this is in her apartment. But since the area is small, the main bright accents are made on the floor (in the bathroom, corridor and balcony), and the walls are painted in a calm and pleasant to the eye light olive color.

The bedroom turned out to be small, about twelve meters. Irina painted the walls and cabinets in the same color, highlighted the headboard with bright English Harlequin wallpaper. The bed is made to order according to her sketches.

The wallpaper pattern that covers the wall behind the headboard is supported by textiles: the colors used in it “flowed” onto decorative pillows, curtains and a bedspread.

The bathroom turned out to be bright due to the graphic floor tiles. The washbasin pedestal was made to order according to the designer’s sketches and echoes the tiles in color.

The most expensive item for the owner of the apartment is located in the hallway. “The work of the artist Evgenia Voronova is my portrait with my cat,— says Irina Vinevskaya. “It seems to me that he set the color scheme for the interior.” Irina designed the chest of drawers specifically for this portrait.
