This apartment is located in Rostov-on-Don, in one of the panel houses of the standard series. Redevelopment could not be done, so the living room was abandoned in the two-room apartment. But this did not prevent us from creating a comfortable space for two mothers and a daughter.

Customers and tasks 

The apartment belongs to a girl with a 10-year-old daughter. The hostess had several wishes for designer Maria Pivovarova: to equip a full-fledged bedroom for her and her daughter’s room, to make functional storage systems that would not clutter up the space, to create a comfortable interior, in a good sense simple, which will be relevant for a long time.

Layout

This is a two-room apartment, which is located in a panel house. Load-bearing walls limited the possibility of redevelopment in panel houses, as a rule, all or most of the walls are load-bearing. Therefore, the layout could not be changed. However, two rooms are enough to arrange separate bedrooms for mom and daughter. But the living room had to be abandoned. 

So, the room closest to the entrance was taken under the daughter’s bedroom, and the mother’s bedroom was decorated in the second. A small kitchen with a loggia became a common area. A T-shaped corridor connects the hallway with the kitchen, the hostess’s room, a bathroom and a small separate bathroom.
