This apartment is located in a typical house built in 1975. The designer made a small redevelopment, which helped to improve the functionality of the housing, and offered an unusual stylish interior. 

Customer and tasks 

The owner of this apartment is a man, a practicing doctor who also accepts at home. He turned to designer Svetlana Kuksova with specific wishes. It was necessary to arrange a place for receiving patients with a rest area in a two-room apartment. In addition, a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub were needed.

Redevelopment

It was a standard two-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, small separate bathrooms and a tiny storage room. According to the author of the project, the main purpose of the redevelopment was the organization of convenient storage systems. The number of rooms was left unchanged. The large one has a massage room with a relaxation area for patients. In the small master bedroom. A small area was “taken away” from the bedroom in order to make a built-in wardrobe from the hallway side. The main changes affected the kitchen. It was slightly expanded due to the bathroom (the apartment is located on the last, ninth floor of the house, so this solution is acceptable) to build in cabinets with a refrigerator.

The bathroom was enlarged due to the corridor and the adjacent bathroom, which made it possible to place the necessary plumbing. They got rid of the mini-pantry by attaching its area to the toilet.
