Style: Olga Tayirova OBJECT PARAMETERS Property type:flat Where is located: Novosibirsk, residential complex “Bulvarny Lane” Square footage: 108.9 m2 The main idea of the project: to create a laconic, clean interior, corresponding in style to the architecture of the residential complex Color scheme: neutral Authors of the project: designer Anna Ignatenko, T. +7 (951) 389-87-00 The customers are a married couple with an adult daughter. The girl receives a second higher education in graphic design in Moscow and comes home only for the holidays, so most of the time her parents live alone. The owner of the apartment has lived in Europe for six years, she is an aesthete, appreciates quality and is well versed in the issue of working on a project. The owners are elderly people, they love simplicity, quality, noble finishes and calm design solutions without pretentiousness. “One of their main wishes was a white marble floor. Other options were not even considered, although, in my opinion, white marble is not the most practical material,” says the designer. — Their love for stone was manifested everywhere: in furniture, decoration… The clients did not go to any half-measures and flatly refused to use any imitations: if we take a stone, then only natural, and that’s it.” Lamp, Aromas del Campo. Everything else remained in its original form, only the wall material was replaced with brick. “Almost all interior solutions emphasize the vertical,” says the designer. — By education — and by way of thinking — I am a monumentalist: I like everything big. All the items and finishes have minimal fragmentation to look large-scale, architecturally.” The rack is made to order according to the designer’s sketches at the Festina factory. Color combinations are based mainly on nuances, textures — only in my daughter’s bedroom I broke the space with a contrasting solution and large mirrors.” Floor lamp, Artetiors. Photo Sergey Krasyuk. Style: Olga Tayirova One of the most unusual items in the interior was a chest of drawers in the living room. “The clients wanted something special, but they could not clearly formulate their wishes. We went through a lot of options for the design of the TV zone and eventually settled on a classic solution: a large pedestal and two lamps. I designed the cabinet myself — its feature is the copper decorative elements on the facade, which support the copper finish of the rack opposite,” says Anna.
