A married couple with two adorable daughters found our 3L Decor studio via Instagram. They called literally on March 8 and delighted with their positive life energy! At the first opportunity we met in London, and we immediately had mutual sympathy, and the trust of customers always gives me a creative impulse and makes me do something special. I realized that this space should be filled with color, sunshine, joy and love.

When doing projects in London, I like to experiment with combinations of colors, textures, textiles, mix art, furniture of different eras. Despite its conservatism, this is a very free city, as I like to say: “Everything is possible in London!” The space with which I had to work was a classic for these places newly built townhouse with an area of 150 sq. m. meters. It was decided not to change the logical layout: on the first floor there is a garage and a kitchen, on the second – a living room and a master bedroom, the third is given over to children’s bedrooms, a playroom and a guest room, and the operated roof with an incredible view of old London houses completes everything. Our townhouse was built very high quality, so in all rooms only the carpet was replaced with a parquet board, sockets and switches, the walls were repainted (the owner of the house took a vacation and painted everything himself), and wallpaper made of natural wild silk appeared in the bedrooms.

The hostess of the house is fond of photography, knitting, sewing, teaches children music, equestrian sports, but most importantly – she paints pictures herself. This fact gave us the idea to decorate the whole house with canvases of the customer and her beautiful daughters. Most of the artwork was done by them during the first lockdown, but just the day before the shooting, the girls decided to re-paint the paintings for the main wall of the living room. The most important thing is that the house has become an extension of its owners, who live harmoniously in it. We are friends and correspond, and I am happy when I get news from London about how good they are. Isn’t that the main thing for a designer?!
