Style: Ekaterina Helia OBJECT PARAMETERS Property type:flat Where is located: Moscow, residential complex “Heart of the Capital” Square footage: 76.2 m2 Style: Modern The main idea of the project: to create a comfortable, stylish interior for a family of three Color scheme: warm – beige, bordeaux, walnut The authors of the project: architect Evgenia Matveenko, @evgeniya_matveenko, architectural studio Flats Design, www.flatsdesign.com , [email protected] The customers are a family of three: the parents are working, the son is preparing to enter the university. Given the pandemic and the “remote”, they all needed to allocate full-fledged work areas — in the bedroom, in the young man’s room and in the living room. In addition, the owners wanted to have two bathrooms in the house and thoughtful storage. They were ready to experiment and asked to add some warm colors that would dilute the neutral light range. So bright accents of terracotta and dark wine colors appeared in the interior, although the overall palette remained quite natural. Sofa, Dantone Home. Table, Loft Design. Style: Ekaterina Helia There are no separate walk—in closets in the apartment – designer Yevgeny Matveenko used built-in wardrobes. A laundry area, a combined kitchen-living room and two bathrooms are separately allocated. The height of the windows made it possible to make comfortable window sills-seats in the nursery and kitchen-living room — in the kitchen it can be used as an additional seat. Style: Ekaterina Helia The austerity of the minimalist, modern interior is smoothed by natural materials — warm wood, ceramic tiles in the kitchen. This was important because customers love nature, often relax in the woods by the lake and wanted to transfer these feelings to their home. There is a lot of air and open space in the kitchen: the designer installed columns with a refrigerator and a microwave so that visually they seem to be a single white wall. A high bar counter acts as a dining table, you can hang around it while sitting on bar stools and on the windowsill. Bar table, Archpole. Chairs, Top concept. The overall color scheme here is neutral: it disposes to a full rest and a healthy sleep. The bed, The Idea. The young man is fond of music, so all the room partitions are soundproof. The empty wall opposite the bed is designed to install a vertical projector, and sockets are provided for it in the table top of the cabinet. Belgian Wallpaper, Covers. Bed, Markokraus.
