The development of the design project was not easy: she could not describe in what style she would like to see the interior, and the references we received were very different. On the one hand, she wanted everything at once, on the other – to make everything as simple as possible. It was only during personal communication that I realized what kind of person she was. It took some time to understand and feel the client, but as a result we received only one comment from her: “Yes! This is exactly what I wanted!””. Kitchen. Joinery, Stolyaroff. Technique, Simiens. The combined space of the kitchen, dining area and living room is separated by pieces of furniture and lighting, both decorative and technical. In the project, we wanted to reflect the hostess’s love of travel, but not quite typical attributes. For example, in the guest bathroom we have Cole&Son wallpaper with a wonderful garden from the collection dedicated to Africa.” Chairs, the property of the customer. Photo SERGEY KRASYUK Hall. The hostess has a lot of personal paintings, prints and photographs, so we decided that this color would be a great background for furniture and decor. White armchairs are not just a modern interpretation of the design of the 50s, they really are more than half a century old! Before that, they were in the house of the customer’s grandfather. All the elements made of wood have been restored, and the thick white corduroy upholstery has given the chairs a chic look.” Bed, Dantone Home. Chair, Gubi. Joinery, Stolyaroff. The sconces are made of porcelain and are a reflection of sophisticated French design with its attention to detail, impeccable shapes and high quality.” Sconce, Designheure. Textiles, Vetrova Home. Photo SERGEY KRASYUK “The office in the apartment simultaneously plays the role of a guest room. The sofa fully unfolds into a double bed, and the storage system has sections for storing things and papers. The room at first glance seems bright, but the colors in it are not flashy, but complex and deep. The starting point was the Moooi wallpaper, which depicts 10 species of birds and animals from different continents of the earth. After being in the room for a couple of moments, you feel how thoughts are organized.” Wallpaper, Moooi. Coffee table, Fredericia. Decor, Elements store. Photo SERGEY KRASYUK Textiles, Vetrova Home. Before her arrival from the airport, we put flowers, bought water, soap, napkins, fruit — we really wanted her to feel comfortable. The next day I received a message: “I stopped by the apartment and immediately burst into tears!“. I had goosebumps running down my spine, I thought something had happened. The following message arrives: “Feeling at home, my dream has come true! It’s so cool! I have one of the happiest days today!“. My shock was replaced by a smile. I think this is the job of a designer: we fulfill the dream of a house.” Wallpaper, Cole&Son. Joinery, Stolyaroff. Photo SERGEY KRASYUK Tile, Porselanosa. Joinery, Stolyaroff.
