Photo Dina Alexandrova The customers, a young married couple, asked to make a modern interior for them, in which they can relax after a hard day’s work. “The apartment does not have a guest bedroom and additional beds (there was no such task), but the kitchen-living room area is made spacious, so it can easily accommodate a large company,” the authors of the project say. There should not have been dark shades in the color scheme that visually reduce the room, but the customers did not want to live in a sterile white apartment – they needed to find a “golden mean”. It became a pearl-gray palette, which the designers supplemented with natural wood of warm brown shades. The TV cabinet is made to order according to individual sketches of the authors of the project. Photo Dina Alexandrova The designers paid special attention to the technical side. All electronics are hidden in a custom-made TV cabinet, so that not a single wire catches the eye. The entrance to the bedroom is also invisible, since it is integrated into the TV wall, which is a single volume, a link between two zones: the kitchen-living room and the hallway. The kitchen has a non-standard island in the shape of a cube. “Usually the kitchen island is long, elongated, free-standing. We have it quite short, but wide and adjoins one end to the wall, ” — say the designers. The kitchen sink can be closed with wooden doors if necessary. Chairs, LEM. The kitchen pencil case, island and countertop are made to order according to individual sketches of the authors of the project. The interior is decorated in light, natural shades and looks visually “clean”, most conducive to a relaxed rest and a restful sleep. Bed, You and Me.
