But not the only one: since the mattress rises easily and quickly, it will be possible to hide the current, but less frequently used clothes here. It will not be difficult to open this compartment 1-2 times a week, and things will be conveniently placed vertically in rigid containers with a lid.

2 In the chest of drawers

A chest of drawers is a good alternative to a bulky closet. It has slightly more functions, since the upper part of the space remains free. On the countertop, you can arrange the storage of cosmetics or jewelry, put on a TV or make an aesthetic composition. And take the boxes themselves under the clothes. At the same time, the already small area of the room does not “eat up” the frame with walls and doors. 8 In a narrow cabinet made to order or with your own hands

The range of furniture stores is typical solutions, and usually the minimum cabinet depth in them is 35 cm (as, for example, a well-known Swedish brand). However, to occupy an inconvenient narrow niche or leave the minimum allowable passage by the bed, this may be too much. An individual project is a great way out, just calculate in advance the dimensions of clothes and containers that will be stored in a mini-closet.

9 In a regular rack with the help of boxes

It is not only convenient, but also a budget solution to use the famous Kallax shelving, filling its compartments with boxes of clothes. Things will not gather dust there, the design itself is quite compact and will stand anywhere (vertically or horizontally). Its surface, like that of a chest of drawers, can additionally be taken under a TV or other equipment, decor, beautiful baskets with small things.

10 In the closet on the balcony

Storage on the balcony is not limited to tools, repair residues, unnecessary household appliances. Why not put an ordinary wardrobe in the recess of the balcony (which is in almost all apartments), filling it to suit your needs? Hide seasonal things here, fancy dresses or suits that you rarely wear, or clothes that you don’t want to wear yet.
