The project of this apartment in the Siberian city of a million was developed for a young bachelor man – a charismatic and successful businessman. He loves simplicity and conciseness, restrained range, functionality and natural materials, so the designer Olga Melnikova chose a style for this interior, which she called “eco-minimalism”.

Initially, the apartment had isolated kitchen and guest rooms. The designer combined them and increased the bathroom area due to the corridor. The apartment is divided into two zones: a common one, which includes a living room with a soft sofa group and a TV, a kitchen with an island and a dining area, and a private one, which consists of a bedroom, a private dressing room and a large bathroom.

The residential complex in which the customer purchased the apartment stands on the bank of the river in a picturesque coniferous forest. Therefore, the view from the windows and the beauty of natural, natural shades formed the basis of the design project. “I wanted to use natural wood in as many surfaces as possible,” says Olga. — So natural parquet, a kitchen made of veneer and a bathroom made of porcelain stoneware with a wood texture appeared in the apartment.”

In addition to wood, other natural textures are also used in the project, for example, a section of stone and sandstone. Comfort brings a variety of textiles: linen, cotton and wool fabrics. And to add brutality, contrast and “male charisma” to the interior, the designer added black metal, which can be seen here in the lamps, decoration and decor details.

Each room has different lighting scenarios. This provides special comfort: the atmosphere in the room can be adjusted to the mood or a specific time of day. The apartment also has a large dressing room for general storage and a guest bathroom with a washing machine and dryer.
