Office in Warsaw with interiors in the spirit of the movie “The Beginning” Design 29.04.2022 While working on an office space project for a major Polish developer, the architects of the MIXD bureau drew inspiration from the surreal universe of the film “The Beginning” by Christopher Nolan Photo PION STUDIO A large Polish construction and investment company Echo Investment recently moved to a new office. The interiors were designed by the MIXD bureau, which turned to the surreal architectural worlds from the film “The Beginning” by Christopher Nolan for inspiration. The main reference to the tape is, first of all, an installation on the ceiling in the lobby of the office — a mock-up of an inverted city made of polished wooden blocks, which directly quotes one of the central scenes of the cult film. Photo PION STUDIO Photo PION STUDIO Photo PION STUDIO The office itself is made in a warm color palette, saturated with brown and beige shades. The designers used exclusively noble materials: wood, ceramics, metal, natural leather and textiles. They did not forget about the context: the office is located in the building of the former Warsaw brewery, and in the interior design there are many references to the historical past of the building. For example, various copper details remind of brewing vats, and the cast-iron decor left over from the old building was converted into pots for plants. Curiously, many of them depict the previous projects of the architects of this unusual office. Photo PION STUDIO Photo PION STUDIO Photo PION STUDIO Ilya Polyakov Original content from the site
