She had little idea how ergonomic it was possible to make the space of an open-plan apartment, – says the author of the project Evgenia Matveenko. “After the layout I proposed, all doubts were dispelled, and further decisions were made with ease.” The bar table is made to order according to the designer’s sketches. Spots, Lightstar. Photo OLGA SHANGINA Style Ekaterina Naumova “When I first crossed the threshold of the apartment, I saw a light-flooded space with a green landscape outside the window. There were no walls or partitions here, and it was very important to preserve this feeling of airiness. My layout option assumed the presence of one functional core in the apartment, which includes a guest bathroom, a main bathroom, a wardrobe, a laundry room, an ironing room, as well as a built-in storage closet. The rest of the space is “air” and a beautiful interior. I completely excluded the corridors, and offered to zone the bedroom with a transparent sliding partition,” says the designer. Kitchen, “Kitchen yard”. The parquet is made to order, the supplier is “Floor to your house”. Paint, Caparol. Household appliances, Neff. Apron, Equipe. Photo OLGA SHANGINA Style Ekaterina Naumova “The center of the living room is a sofa made of green velvet. In combination with large green plants, it creates an atmosphere of summer in the house even in winter. In the kitchen, it was important not to block the view of the river from the window, so I abandoned the dark curtains, and built a soft seat along the wall under the window, where you can relax watching the changing landscape. The arch that divides the kitchen and the window area has a niche on the back side for storing books and magazines. So, your favorite volumes are always at hand,” says Evgenia. The overall bed has even corners; its strict shape and texture are further emphasized by the surrounding details and textiles. The glass sliding partition keeps a little secret: if you close it, the curtains will drop on the electric drive and the room will become completely isolated,” says Evgenia. Mattress, King Koil. We chose a contrasting combination of porcelain stoneware for wood and porcelain stoneware with a pattern imitating marble. It reflects the lamps and the backlight, making the room more illuminated,” says the designer. Sink, BelBagno. The shower room is made to order. Plumbing, Villeroy & Boch. In addition to the dressing room, I have provided a storage room for household items and built-in wardrobes. Shelves for bags, accessories and shoes are also made in the corridor. Everything is made to order according to my sketches,” adds Evgenia. “There is a laundry area hidden behind a secret door in the guest bathroom. Gray porcelain stoneware under natural stone creates a chamber atmosphere.” Photo OLGA SHANGINA Style Ekaterina Naumova Original content from the site
