Designer Anna Morozova designed the interior of the Moscow studio, in which Scandinavian style is combined with original boho-chic details. The atmosphere of comfort was set by the happy childhood memories of the customer about the days spent with her grandmother in the village

The owner of this apartment holds a managerial position and spends a lot of time at work, so her main wish was to create a very cozy and bright space in which you can instantly forget about business and switch to rest.

“The atmosphere of the interior was set by the customer’s childhood memories of holidays visiting her grandmother: a wooden house, the rays of the sun breaking through the window curtains, knitted wool rugs; warmth, silence and peace,” says designer Anna Morozova.

Despite the small area of the kitchen-living room, there is a place for a group of friends. The table can be easily pulled out, the sofa can be unfolded, and it is convenient to watch TV both from the sofa and from the kitchen. White color and matte surfaces combined with natural wood make the space airy and bring a sense of cleanliness and lightness.

One of the most interesting details of the space is the fabric canvases on the ceiling. “Such a technique may seem impractical and strange, but here it is absolutely justified. The cloths are attached with Velcro, so they are easy to remove and pull. They resemble sails and create a feeling of wind, romance and comfort,” says Anna.

The hostess wanted a full-fledged sleeping area, so the bed was placed near the window, separating it from the kitchen-living room with a partition. In order not to block daylight and to facilitate the construction with brickwork, the designer added decorative slats made of wood.

“We managed to design a convenient storage system behind the bed. We used the space behind and above the headboard. LED lighting was stretched along the perimeter of the windows, which gives soft diffused light,” says Anna. It is convenient to read and knit in the armchair before going to bed, and the interactive panel can be hung with your favorite photos or things that the hostess uses most often.
