The hostess wanted a large dressing room to be placed in her apartment, despite the small area, wide window sills were preserved on which one could sit on pillows, and a unique space was created in which one could relax as comfortably as possible from the busy weekdays. A comfortable soft sofa, “burning” with ochre and mustard, helps her in this. Bookshelf, IKEA. Photo Denis Denisov, Alexandra Kurlygina. Style: Leila Bagirova, Olga Voichinskaya “In the project, I did not try to adhere to the strict canons of a certain stylistic direction,” says the author of the project, Leila Bagirova. “My goal was to create a kind of frame—base from classic details in the form of plaster cornices, ceiling sockets, transoms between the living room and the hall and fill the apartment with modern ergonomic furniture, designer decor and light.” Doors, “Framir”. Style: Leila Bagirova, Olga Voichinskaya “It was important to fit the old piano into the interior so that it would not look like a foreign object in the new living room,” the designer continues. — I tried to emphasize as much as possible the beautiful windows with wide slopes and window sills, not covering them with textiles, but installing wooden blinds on them.” The kitchen is made to order. Style: Leila Bagirova, Olga Voichinskaya The small kitchen area is separated by a loft partition, which makes the room separate, but does not cut the integrity of the common space of the kitchen and living room. Despite the small square footage of the kitchen, only 6 sq. m., it was possible to place everything you need here. A graphite vertical radiator with a loft partition, a dark gray stone window sill and a stone countertop look harmoniously in the kitchen. All these dark details create a kind of graphite identity, which is diluted with a deep blue color on the walls and facades of the kitchen. Bed, Piterloft. Bedside table, Dantone Home. This makes the bedroom more romantic and gentle. It was also possible to organize a spacious wardrobe in the bedroom, which frees up space from cabinets. Desktop, Piterloft. Table lamp, IKEA. The designers did not want to make the living room a walk-through, but this compromise made it possible to expand the toilet at the expense of the hallway and additionally mark the sink there.
