“The starting point in the design of this apartment was art,” the authors of the project say. — The owner of the apartment wanted a studio-gallery in which the whole atmosphere would change with the change of the exposition. The color scheme was matched to the print work in the living room: its bright shades formed the basis of the entire interior.”

The room was originally uninhabited, it was renovated for apartments. To emphasize this connection with history, the designers hung a vintage lamp in the dining area: similar models in the Soviet years could be seen in factories.

The main advantages of the apartment are a full—length window and high ceilings (almost four meters). The designers installed an asymmetrical windowsill table in the living room, which helped to emphasize the beauty of the window and place a two-meter sofa and a full-fledged workplace in a small space.

“The budget for repairs was small, but we met it, and even a little remained on top,” the designers recall. — We used everything that could be left in the apartment: laminate flooring, walls in the bathroom, doors. The main funds were spent on furniture, a bathroom and a mezzanine. The white folding staircase has already been made, we continued it with white railings and fencing on the second floor.”

Cork coating was used in the decoration of the upper floor. It is not only pleasant to walk on it, it also absorbs noise, which is important for the mezzanine floor. You can attach pictures and photos to the cork on the wall, thereby stylizing the space for yourself.
