Initially, they planned to use these apartments as “weekend accommodation”, but after seeing the result, they decided to move here on a permanent basis. They asked the designer to create a modern, functional and comfortable space with a large number of storage systems and different lighting scenarios. Style: Irina Temnova “Initially, the customer wanted to fit on 80 sq. m. there are two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room, believing that in the future this will increase the cost of the apartment,” says the designer. — But we proposed to divide the room into a spacious common space and a private block with a bedroom and a master bathroom. We also decided to bet on large windows with views of the park and the stadium: this is what made a strong impression on me when I first inspected the object. When designing, we abandoned the isolated hallway and created the most open space with natural light. There are no cabinets in the interior — all storage systems are integrated into the space. This approach required precise calculations, well-thought-out junctions of different materials for the most “pure” perception of space.” Coffee tables, BoConcept. Floor lamp, Vibia. Therefore, the designer decided to delicately introduce a marine theme into the interior, but not through the standard blue color, but through a balanced natural range: shades of sand and rocky mountains. So in the TV area of the living room, a matte decorative sand-colored coating appeared, and artificial corals and shells appeared on the shelves of the rack. The kitchen apron and countertop are decorated with an accent pattern of stone with an unusual texture, and the bathrooms are decorated with granite marble. Armchair, BoConcept. Style: Irina Temnova At the request of the customer, a table was not installed in the kitchen area. Instead, they made a large kitchen island with four seats, two of which are located so that the TV area is clearly visible from them. The ergonomics of the island is carefully thought out so that you can comfortably sit at it, like at a dining table. Open storage sections are organized on the side. Style: Irina Temnova A soft area by the window in the bedroom is one of the first wishes of the client, voiced at a meeting with the designer. In its lower part there are drawers for storage, on the right and on the left there are symmetrical columns-racks with shelves made of dark glass. Despite the crossbar running along the window, the designer managed to create a symmetrical composition of the sleeping area, for this purpose mirror inserts made of graphite glass are installed, visually compensating for the lowering of the ceiling box. Style: Irina Temnova It is no coincidence that the floor sink in the guest bathroom is located on the axis of the doorway: when the door is open, a beautiful common space is visible. Behind the mirrored facades there is a locker for storing accessories, in a niche there is a shelf with hidden evening lighting. The washing machine and dryer are hidden in a closet with a folding door: so they do not violate the aesthetics of the interior. Plumbing, Grohe, TECE, Villeroy&Boch. Style: Irina Temnova “I am very pleased with the “purity” of the execution of ideas, the feeling of air in space,” says the author of the project. — It is also important for me that each zone turned out to be as functional as possible, but did not lose its aesthetic component. Each piece of furniture and decor is not accidental, but carefully selected to create absolute harmony in the interior.” Apartment in Moscow.
