The bright office of the Norwegian studio in London Design 18.04.2022 The Norwegian studio Bakken & Bæck has a bright new office in London. The Archmongers bureau worked on its design, which undertook to reflect the extraordinary style and individuality of Norwegian colleagues in the workshop in the interior — and coped with this task perfectly! Photo French + Tye Norwegian studio Bakken & Bæck has recently opened a new office in London. It was designed by the British bureau Archmongers. The office occupies two floors of a building in the east part of London. On the lower level there are conference rooms and rest rooms, on the upper level there is an office and three small meeting rooms. The key task of the architects was to reflect the bright personality of the Norwegian studio team in the interior, and they decided to implement this task with the help of color. The interior is decorated in muted shades of orange, yellow, green, referring partly to retro style, partly to the corporate colors of Bakken & Bæck offices in other countries. The office partitions are made of Douglas fir, the floors are made of boards, but the most unusual solution was acoustic panels made of cardboard pipes, which were painted in the same sage green color as the walls. Downstairs it is a negotiating table, which occupies a central place in the common room, upstairs there are meeting rooms. In general, it turned out to be a bright, extraordinary, expressive interior that perfectly reflects the character of the Norwegian studio Bakken & Bæck.
