Two-storey apartment “on Patriki”: Alla Shumeyko’s project Design 10.07.2022 The unusual layout of the two-storey apartment inspired the decorator Alla Shumeyko to create an interior based on park pavilions A fragment of the living room. Therefore, customers did not hesitate to purchase this property, despite the unusual layout. The apartment has two entrances — on the first and second floors, while the space of the first floor has an irregular shape and very high ceilings. The exit to the small patio makes the room look like a park pavilion bathed in the morning sun. This effect, noticed by the decorator when he first visited the apartment, gave rise to the future interior. The living room is combined with the dining room. The door on the right leads to a separate kitchen. The showcase contains a collection of Soviet art glass. Photo Sergey Ananyev. Style: Natalia Onufreychuk A fragment of the living room. Instead of the usual parquet, the floor is lined with a marble “herringbone” of a beautiful green shade with an “antique” effect. The complex blue-green color of the walls echoes the color of the stone, turning the room into an extension of the garden. Table based on a sketch by Alla Shumeyko, Wood Zen Art. Style: Natalia Onufreychuk We have not forgotten about modern comfort: if necessary, you can turn on the heating, and the softest Berber carpet is placed next to the sofas. In the development of the history of the “park pavilion”, the living room received stucco cornices, and high ceilings enhanced the effect of classical architecture — it seems that one of the halls of the Italian palazzo was moved to the center of Moscow. Style: Natalia Onufreychuk It was important for the owners to create the feeling of a country house in the apartment, so a high tiled stove was placed in the living room. To make it not seem like an alien element, the decorator turned it into a kind of picturesque canvas painted with free strokes of the brush. The search for an artist capable of making tiles in the manner of oriental ink painting took a lot of time, but everyone was satisfied with the result — even the owners, who initially wanted a traditional ornament. Style: Natalia Onufreychuk A staircase leads to the second floor, where there are bedrooms and an office. The vertical separation of common and private zones perfectly corresponds to the lifestyle of the owners. It was immediately decided that private life should not overlap with guests in any way. Even the staircase had to be moved: during the construction, it rose immediately from the entrance, but Alla Shumeyko, together with the architects, moved it in the opposite direction. And now the hosts are literally coming down to breakfast. The hostess’s bathroom. The walls were painted by Alyona Vilyukova. Mirrors, Crystal Art, Lamps gallery of 50-60-70s. Photo Sergey Ananyev. The interiors of the second floor are solved in a calm color scheme, except that the hostess’s bathroom painted with wildflowers reminds that it’s time to plant annuals in the garden. The customers are quite young people, and they do not have children yet, but they have already allocated two of the best rooms for children’s rooms. The interiors there are still decorated neutrally, so that future owners have the opportunity to redo them to their liking. So this story is sure to have a beautiful sequel. www.alladecor.ru Bedroom.
