This apartment is used in case you need to stay in the city,” says designer Marina Poklontseva. — Since the owners are used to enjoying a comfortable life in a spacious house, my main task was to maintain a sense of spaciousness. At the same time, equip the apartment with everything necessary and even more. The kitchen, for example, although not used often, is perfectly equipped. There is a wide refrigerator, an oven, a microwave with a steamer, a hob, a dishwasher and a water purification system. A folding table is provided for home parties. The chandelier above it is equipped with dimmers, which creates a festive atmosphere.” Luxury Glam bar counter from Aster Cucine. Visconti bar stools from Ottiu. But customers are used to having breakfast and watching TV, and the bar counter is very suitable for this, so I designed it only for two. I placed sockets nearby, it turned out that working in an apartment with a laptop, if necessary, is also more convenient at the bar.” From the kitchen there is an exit to the attached loggia. Photo Sergey Krasyuk The main decorating techniques used in interior design: The absence of large pieces of furniture creates a sense of spaciousness, as customers wanted. All cabinets are built-in and visually perceived as a continuation of the wall. Mirror inserts visually expand the space and create a feeling of lightness. Golden wallpaper with a large graphic pattern makes the interior both ceremonial and stylish. A pair of Swing chairs from Tosconova. Table lamp, Robert Abbey. Photo Sergey Krasyuk “The bedroom is combined with a large dressing room. Next to the bedside table there is a convenient control panel not only with electric curtains, individual lighting, but also with general light in the apartment. By simply pressing the “turn off everything” button near the bed, you can turn off all the lighting in the apartment, which saves customers from checking the lamps that are not accidentally turned off. There is the same key in the hallway.” Bedroom. Channels Wallpaper by Kelly Wearstler. Lauren bed by Meridiani. Sconce, designed by Kelly Wearstler for Visual Comfort. It is beautifully integrated into the interior, but located next to the bed. I understood that this could put a little pressure on customers, not everyone likes mirrors in the bedroom. Golden stripes crush the mirror canvas and take over the main attention. The idea is good, but it turned out to be difficult to implement. The stripes applied with a special paint to the surface of the mirror are erased over time, and the stripes applied from the side of the removed amalgam change their color and lose their luster due to the thickness of the glass. I made more than three samples of the mirror with the application of different materials (liquid metal, self-adhesive film and others), until the optimal option was found in appearance and ease of use. As a result, recesses were cut in the mirror from the side of the amalgam, into which the golden filler was poured. The strip cannot be erased from the front side, and the thinned glass no longer refracts the shine of the material.” Bedroom. Banquette, Carpanese Home. Bedside tables Paris from Tosconova. This is such a dream of any girl when you get from the bedroom into a large dressing room with a window, and there is enough space for all women’s accessories. There is a separate shoe cabinet, shelves for bags and a special place for high boots, as well as for long cocktail dresses and even suitcases.” Dressing room. This is a very important and pleasant place for the hostess, as the most beautiful makeup is obtained in natural light.” On the loggia at the bedroom there is a boudoir of the hostess. The vaulted ceiling, mosaics on the walls and a massage bed make it a sacred place of purification and relaxation, and chromotherapy built into the shower system creates a variety of light scenarios corresponding to a certain mood.” Bathroom with hammam.
