And although men are more and more common among bloggers and architects, we are more used to the female face of interior design. Therefore, on February 23, we are considering the apartments of male bloggers. Spoiler: they did it cool!

1 Cozy living-dining room filled with warm light

Men’s apartments do not necessarily have to be gloomy and strict, they are not alien to warmth, comfort. This living-dining room in Berlin is filled with light, and three large windows and the chosen palette played a role.

Beige-brown shades in the interior are universal: they are gender-neutral, but at the same time “warm” the situation. Three windows (which is typical for many German layouts) divided the spacious room into 3 parts. Near the first there is a recreation area, continuing with an unusual sofa. The second became the center of a compact workplace. And near the third there is a dining area with a wooden table, chairs and a mini sofa. Contrary to stereotypes, the room is not devoid of decor, rather, on the contrary. Almost all surfaces have beautiful stylish details that complement the atmosphere.

2 Living room in restrained gray-beige tones

The owner of the apartment declares himself as a fan of the “beige aesthetic” (beige aesthetic). However, his small bright living room is proof of that. Despite the gray-beige color scheme and rather strict forms, the room is cozy, disposing to stay in it longer. Textiles play an important role. It is also restrained, but the textured carpet, velour sofa upholstery, blankets, pillows soften the Nordic atmosphere. There is less decor here, and it is clearly verified, nothing stands out in color or style.

3 Unusual dining room in the color block style

At first glance, it seems that the apartment is located somewhere in a southern country: a warm sand palette, wood and rattan, a huge monstera. But this is Switzerland, and a man also lives here. The main design technique in this dining room was the color block-the walls are not just painted, but as if they consist of several color sections. The geometricality of the solution is supported by a large black poster with abstract geometric motifs. With it, in turn, rattan chairs with black edging are perfectly combined, the interior immediately acquires coherence and integrity. Several unusual accessories are placed around the room: a futuristic lamp, colored candlesticks, abstract posters. The dining group in the center of the dining room is united by a large boucle carpet of a light shade.

4 Boho interior with a summer mood

Looking at these photos of the bedroom and living room, you instantly feel the rays of the sun on you. This is one of the features of boho to give the interior a summer mood. Although men rarely choose such a style, the choice of a resident of France, the owner of this bright apartment, is 100% justified. The living room and the bedroom here are two separate rooms, but due to the complete unity of color and decor, they create the impression of a common, perfectly thought-out space. White and beige palette, rattan, jute and wood, sun mirrors, pampas grass canonical boho set.

5 Stylish kitchen-living room with blue accents

Fast forward from sunny France to cool Sweden, although the apartment in the photo is not an example of a typical Nordic style. Its owner mixed several directions, and the output turned out to be a very stylish, original space with interesting details.

The layout is almost open, so let’s take a look only at the kitchen-living room, spacious and bright. A functional kitchen set, a blue sofa with a carriage tie, popular IKEA Strandmon chairs, a table made of untreated wood, a concrete wall and an emerald-colored fireplace, the effect is amazing! In this interior, masculinity is somehow especially readable, but not deliberate, but natural and stylish.

6 Spacious kitchen-living room-dining room in monochrome palette

The owner of this apartment is Norwegian. Scandinavian motifs can be traced more clearly, and together with the open bright space of three full-fledged zones at once, they look especially harmonious. The kitchen is represented by two spacious sections: cabinets and built-in appliances, as well as an island, which is the main working area of a non-standard solution. The black matte facades respond in the dining group with a strict, but disposing to pleasant dinners. The living room is separated by a small wall. It has a lighter palette, a lot of textiles, and a fireplace gives more comfort.
