“The 78 m2 apartment is designed for a student, a bright representative of the buzzer generation,” says the architectRustem Urazmetov. “There are a lot of wow effects inside: catchy color accents, a smart glass bathroom wall, neon lighting, a transparent shoe rack that looks like an art installation.”

“It is difficult to call the layout simple for solving the tasks that we set ourselves at the design stage. It was necessary to provide a combined kitchen-living room, bedroom, study and bathroom. The difficulty was that the developer separated the kitchen from the living room with two supporting columns. As a result, we managed to visually combine these two spaces by shifting the sofa area to one of the columns and making it accent. Due to this, the viewer’s attention has shifted to a bright sofa, around which everything else is perceived as a single whole.” 

The walls and ceiling of the office are finished with acoustic panels.

“The bedroom is located on the loggia, it is combined with an office for music lessons. The window offers a good view of the city. We installed a panoramic window to take advantage of this. There were special requirements for the office: it was necessary to create conditions for the ability to record music, so the walls and ceiling are decorated with acoustic panels.”

“The bathroom has become a visual and spatial extension of the living room thanks to the smart glass wall. The choice of materials and color solutions is dictated by the need to integrate into the overall composition. Thanks to the use of RGB lighting in the bathroom, you can create interesting color scenarios when all the other lights in the apartment are turned off.”

“Neon lights, bright accents and metal panels on the walls remind of the style of cyberpunk. This space was created in order to become a background for creativity. A blank sheet, where the image of the future finds its expression. One of the sources of inspiration for this project is the album Simulation Theory by Muse. The cover for it was created by artist Kyle Lambert, known for working on posters for the series Stranger Things (“Very strange things”).”
